Vanderbilt met with ESPN's cameras Thursday before holding its first Omaha training session.

Warming Up for Friday

Vanderbilt will take the field at TD Ameritrade Park for the first time Friday, but visited with ESPN on Thursday and then headed for an off-site training session.

Corbin Back in Omaha

For the fifth time since 2011, head coach Tim Corbin has guided Vanderbilt to Omaha. Corbin's Commodores have gone 16-7 in four previous trip to the College World Series and claimed the titles in 2014 and 2019.

Opening Game Saturday

Vanderbilt is 4-0 in opening games at the College World Series and looks to add another Saturday with a 6 p.m. CT start against Arizona.

Double Barrel

Vanderbilt starters Kumar Rocker (left) and Jack Leiter are a combined 23-6 this season with 311 strikeouts against 100 hits allowed.

Mr. June

Rocker, the Most Outstanding Player of the 2019 College World Series, owns a 0.63 earned run average across his six career starts in the NCAA Tournament and sports a perfect 6-0 NCAA postseason record.
