For the fourth consecutive tournament, Vanderbilt hosted an NCAA Super Regional.

Vanderbilt's pregame Fan Fest took place on Jess Neely Drive pregame Friday and will be back from 9-11 a.m. Saturday.

Rocker, Rock Solid

Making his sixth career NCAA Tournament start, Kumar Rocker was again lights out, limiting East Carolina to just three singles over 7.2 innings and fanning 11.

Postseason Success - Count on it

Rocker owns 42.2 NCAA postseason innings pitched, yielding just 20 hits and three runs. He has fanned 64 (1.5 whiffs/inning) against only 10 walks.

Vanderbilt took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second on a groundout to the second baseman by Javier Vaz.

Not so Fast

East Carolina's Connor Norby was caught stealing in the top of the fourth inning.

Pitch for Pitch

Rocker and East Carolina's Gavin Williams battled pitch for pitch and combined to strike out 24 in 15.0 frames.

Below, Rocker punched out Josh Moylan to strand two in the top of the sixth.

Stranding One; Leading by One

Nick Maldonado came on for Rocker in the top of the eighth and retired Thomas Francisco on a foul out to strand a runner and keep it a one-run affair.

Insurance Run

Enrique Bradfield Jr. flew around the bases to give East Carolina a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the eighth.

Using Your Speed

Bradfield Jr. led off the eighth with an infield single, moved to second on a wild pitch and advanced to third on a sacrifice bunt from Carter Young.

A Slide To Remember

Bradfield Jr. took off for home on a grounder to the East Carolina shortstop, who threw home. Bradfield Jr. was ruled out at the plate on the play, but the call was overturned upon review.
